Digital Producer

 

Cure the Creative Sausage

You will be responsible for guiding the development of projects to ensure successful completion of projects on time, within budget and at the highest levels of quality.

You will work closely with 2020da’s business development staff to identify and determine scope, timing and budget for potential projects. Maintain schedules, communicate progress and status on multiple projects, coordinate people and resources, identifying challenges and recommending solutions. You will work directly with your clients and be the main contact between them and our production staff. Efficiently manage multiple concurrent projects from start to finish and lead, motivate and inspire team to achieve maximum results with resources available.

Key Duties

 

  • Identify project scope and write proposals
  • Collect and organise all project assets from our clients
  • Coordinate the optimisation and preparation of all project assets
  • Conduct resource and requirement gathering meetings with client along with technical director and business development staff
  • Strategic project planning and basic information architecture on large-scale projects
  • Conduct meetings to present design concepts to clients
  • Communicate client direction and feedback to our Creative Director
  • Facilitate communication between clients, 3rd party vendors, freelancers and internal staff
  • Organise and document all feedback and the proofreading process with our clients
  • Anticipate obstacles and address them beforehand
  • Be a skilled, creative and confident presenter and negotiator
  • Create and manage project timelines to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time and within budget

Internal Responsibilities

 

  • Update project notes for weekly staff meetings
  • Track project expenses and create purchase orders as needed
  • Contribute to the overall management of office staff and environment
  • Research, locate and interview freelance staff when necessary to complete a project

Must Have

 

  • Prior experience (3-5 years) as a interactive producer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of common software such as Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, etc.
  • Understanding of interactive website project development process
